Linds and I have participated in the annual bikini series hosted by our loves at Tone it up. We love it, as do so many awesome women in the tone it up community. The series is packed with weekly workouts, recipes, daily motivation, accountability, prizes and the best lifestyle and fitness challenges to get you ready for summer! Want a little extra kick to get started? I have been loving the Bikini Body Guide workouts by Kayla Itsines. I was looking to up my workout intensity and I found my match! No gym required! The moves are simple, easy to grasp and are EFFECTIVE. It gets more challenging as you go but I noticed my cardio has even improved from this. It takes a lot to get me winded now and I feel so freaking strong!! I put on my favorite music playlist and just go for it! Check out her site for free downloads to get you started. We have also been loving workouts from Blogilates! She’s fun, her workouts are fun and we just love her! Her workout plans are structured which is great for beginners so you won’t feel over whelmed with all the info. She gives you 4-5 workouts a day that you do one time through, so it keeps it super fun and interesting. While you are doing the workouts you feel encouraged to keep going and she talks to you while you’re working out like a girlfriend would so you forget your working out!
Some other tips to put a Spring in your step:
Wear bright colors, step out of your comfort zone and speak your mind.
Give yourself an attitude adjustment, free yourself of negative thinking, anything that doesn’t better you or your precious life.
Plant some flowers. Take time to journal before bed. Drink fruity smoothies. Foam roll, not just sore muscles but for your posture!
Clear clutter from your space. Rearrange furniture. Get to bed earlier, seize the day! Be the sun in someone’s life. <3
