Let’s face it, life can be crazy. Wonderful, stressful, messy, beautiful. Balancing time with work, loved ones and responsibilities, it’s no wonder it is so easy to get run down! With everything going on in our lives, it’s absolutely necessary to unplug and recharge. We do so much on a daily basis, it’s important to take care of ourselves. Not only will we rep the benefits, but those around us will feel it too! You breath of fresh air, you! 😉
With this post are some things we like to do to relax and unwind. Try some of them out! Leave some of your favorite tips if you got ’em!
Now, I try to stop stress in it’s tracks before it becomes a problem. However, I know it’s not always easy, life just happens! However, it puts things in perspective and calms me down to know, it could be worse. This is temporary, I got this. In any issue that may arise, big or small, it’s important we handle it with a clear mind.
I like to breathe deep, hold it for a few seconds and let it all go, slowly out of my mouth. I let go of any tension. Close your eyes and think of all the things you have going for you. How your heart beats for you. Drink a cup of hot tea. Walk my dogs. Laugh with a friend. Step away from technology for a bit. Get outside. Write. Seek out the things that make you happy. Stay hydrated. Try new things. Find a new recipe and get cookin’ good lookin’! Take time for a vacation, big or small. Go for a spa day, you won’t regret it! Haha. Even getting organized is great. We also love to relax in hammocks!
